The SDK Offers Service Oriented Architecture for Clients

KIRKLAND, WA - Byte Software, a leading provider of mortgage lending software solutions, announced the availability of their Software Development Kit (SDK) at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) annual convention held June 21-25, 2007 in Seattle. The SDK will allow Byte clients and third party vendors to develop customized applications between Byte Software’s BytePro and BytePro Enterprise systems, the client’s systems and third-party systems.

Utilizing the SDK’s development tools, software engineers can create stand alone applications requiring minimal or no user interaction. Capabilities include the ability to import or export data in and out of BytePro using industry standards including Fannie Mae and MISMO file formats. Custom add-ins can also be integrated directly into the menu items within BytePro allowing the user to access functionality without leaving the BytePro program.

The SDK also allows third parties, such as web site and CRM vendors to write interfaces that enable BytePro users to send data to and from their systems. Those interfaces can be distributed freely to BytePro end-users.

The SDK, as well as the BytePro platform itself, is based on Microsoft .NET technology, ensuring support for the widest range of external applications.
