We just imported our Byte Classic files to BytePro, and none of the files have users (LOs and LPs) assigned. What do we do?

Byte users must be imported before Byte loan files (or at the same time) in order for LOs and LPs to be assigned properly in BytePro. See the How do I import loan files FAQ for that procedure. Once files are imported into BytePro, there is no way to change file assignments in bulk.

If you have already imported your files, you have two options:

• You can re-import your Byte files, choosing Overwrite All Files on the Byte Import Wizard (importing users at the same time). With this option, you will lose any file changes.
  
• You can assign users to each file manually. To do that relatively quickly, highlight a file name on the File List screen, click Quick Info, click Home and make the assignments without the overhead of opening and closing the file. Repeat for each file.
