We mapped our network drive directly to the shared data folder, and the Byte Classic custom info won’t import. What do we do?

For the purposes of importing custom Byte Classic data, you will need to import using a data folder path that includes the folder name - for example, \\server\c\bytepro or C:\bytepro.

To import the custom data, add the existing data folder to the data folder list a second time by browsing to the data folder the long way - bypassing the mapped drive. Log into the "new" data folder with the longer name (bottom of the folder list), import the custom data, and then delete that data folder from the data folder list at your leisure.

You will be able to keep the directly mapped drive for daily use.
