How do I email a loan file to someone else who has Byte installed?

Emailing a group of Byte loan files

  1. Go to the Main Menu, click Files on the left, then Export Loan Files in the center section and Export Loan Files again on the right.
  2. Click to the left of the loan files you wish to email or click All to select all the files.
  3. Click Export at the bottom on the right.
  4. "Zip after .." and "Email after .." should both say No. Click on Text Files.
  5. Click in the down arrow to the right of the Save In box at the top of the screen. Choose an easily remembered directory to save the export file in, like My Documents.
  6. Type a short file name into the file name box; for example, feb14. Click Save.
  7. Open your email program, start a new message, and click the paper clip icon or attach files to do a file attachment.
  8. Browse to the same folder you saved the export file in, and double-click on it to attach. Send the email message with the file attachment.

Emailing a single Byte loan file

  1. Open the Byte loan file you wish to email.
  2. Click on File in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Email current loan file from the dropdown menu.
  4. Your email program should open to a new message window. The Byte loan file will already be attached to the email. Enter the recipient's email address, and click Send.
