How do I email loan documents if I use AOL?

Your email program must be MAPI compliant in order to be able to email loan documents from Byte. AOL versions 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 are not MAPI compliant, but AOL 7.0 is MAPI compliant.

Using AOL 7.0:

  1. Open the Byte loan file you wish to email from.
  2. Click on Utilities in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on Print all.
  4. Double-click over to the right side the loan documents you wish to email.
  5. Click email at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Enter the email address of the recipient and click Email.
  7. When your email application opens, append any additional messages and click Send.

If you get an error message, you may need to make AOL 7.0 your default email program. This is done through AOL - contact AOL tech support for assistance making that configuration change. When you are logged on to AOL, type Help into the keyword box for a list of current tech support numbers and options.
