My management report says 'No files match the criteria you have selected' and it displays an empty report. What do I do?
One or more of the filters you have chosen for your report is either too restrictive, or is conflicting with another filter within the report. If two or more filters have been added to a report, you will only see files that satisfy both filters, not either filter. For example, you may have constructed a report that filters for files with a closed date, and files that have a cancelled status. Probably no files would satisfy both criteria.
Another example - if you filter for a certain loan status, like closed loans only, you must fill out the status screen for each of your loans in order to see them in your management report.
Examining and editing the filter on a given report field:
- On the main menu, click management reports on the left, then click create your own management report in the center section, and click Create on the right.
- Highlight the report you need to modify, then click edit on the right.
- Highlight one of the fields in your field list that shows a filter in the filter column.
- Click edit field on the left.
- Modify the filter appropriately, and click OK to save your changes.
Note: completing the status screen for each of your loan files is an important key to comprehensive management reports. It is important to realize that the status dates on the right of the status screen are independent of the current file status shown on the left side of the status screen. You may have several status dates that reflect the history of the loan, but only one current status. Within management reports, you can filter on the current status or on any of the different status dates.
Accessing the status screen:
- Open the Byte loan file whose status you need to edit or examine.
- Click Borrower in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen, then select status from the dropdown list.
