How do I move a file from BytePro to Byte Classic?

You will need to create a Fannie Mae formatted file to import to Byte. This file will not contain all of your BytePro file information; it will consist primarily of loan and borrower info.

  1. Open BytePro, and open the loan file to export.
  2. Click Interfaces (menu bar) >> Lenders >> Export Fannie Mae File.
  3. Choose 3.2 for the File Version, choose Minimum for the Validation Level and click Create File. Note the stored location of the created file.
  4. Open Byte, start a new loan file, and choose Fannie Mae File from the Import Source dropdown list on the Byte New File screen.
  5. Browse to the Fannie Mae file generated from BytePro (if you have just created the file, it should be in My Documents\BytePro\Temp). Look for the file name and a .fnm extension. Click Open, and then OK on the New File screen to create the new Byte file.
