Is there an easy way to add new users to a data folder?

  1. Yes. If you are already logged into the shared data folder, you can add new users by opening a loan file, going to the Home screen, and clicking User Setup in the File Permissions section.
  2. Use your Insert key or double-click an empty line to start a new user account.
  3. Enter the account information for the new user. Input a user name, (this will be the name displayed with files, and the log-in name), make sure the role is correct, and adjust permissions for the user in the section below. For example, you might want to restrict a loan officer to a view of only their assigned files.
  4. Click OK to add the new user, and repeat as many times as needed.
