Some of our lenders require a submitted 3.2 version Fannie Mae file, and others want a version 3.0 Fannie Mae file. Can we create either of those in BytePro?

You can create a version 3.2 file (the newer, more complete file) or the older version 3.0 file that is still required by a few lenders.

1. Open the BytePro loan file.
2. Click Interfaces (Menubar) >> Lenders >> Export Fannie Mae file.
3. For the Validation Level, choose ‘Underwriting’ for a full submission or ‘Credit’ for a credit only.
4. Choose the file version, 3.0 or 3.2, and note the destination path for the file below.
5. Click ‘Create File’ (above).
6. Use ‘Review and Fix’ to correct any errors, if necessary (the file will not be created with errors).
