What are the Credit drop-down selections on the DO/DU on the Web screens?

The credit action options allow you to make your credit request in BytePro instead of waiting until you are on the DO/DU web site. Instead of starting with Credit and Underwriting Options on the DO/DU web site, you are whisked straight to the Submit screen.

The credit action feature is automatically in effect whenever a credit ID and password are entered in the BytePro Fannie Mae credit defaults. If you do not want to bypass the Credit and Underwriting Option screen on the Fannie Mae web site, you can delete the user ID and password from the BytePro Fannie Mae credit defaults which will disable the credit action feature.

Credit Action Types:

Default Action - For a first submission, a new credit report will be ordered. For second or further submissions with a credit report associated with the file in DO/DU, the default action will not order credit.

Re issue Report - A credit reference number must be included in the field to the left of the credit action when requesting a re-issue of credit. A re-issued report will be ordered from the credit provider selected in the BytePro Fannie Mae defaults (an ID and password must be included) and the report will be associated with the loan file in DO/DU.

New Report- A new report will be ordered from the credit provider selected in BytePro's Fannie Mae defaults, regardless of whether or not a report is already associated with the file.
