I am switching from Byte Classic to BytePro. What data will I need to recreate in BytePro?

Items your organization may wish to move to BytePro:

• User IDs and passwords for credit, lenders, and underwriting
• A Generic X12 template, if your credit provider is not embedded in BytePro
• Items Needed sets, Reg Z sets, required providers and your memorized Zip Code list.

The above items and the balance of BytePro’s defaults are gathered in the Defaults section. Click Defaults (toolbar), and examine each of the screens in the list. If you take a look (even quickly) at each screen, you’ll be less likely to miss entering important data, and it will serve as an introduction to BytePro’s default settings.

There are two methods that may make transferring that data easier:

• Open Byte and BytePro to corresponding screens and use Alt-tab to switch back and forth between the two.
• With the Byte screen open, click Prt Scr (print screen) on your keyboard, open Word or Paint, and use the ctrl+v combination (paste) to paste the screen shot into the application. Print the screen shot for an at-your-elbow reference while entering data into BytePro.
